Farmer’s Burger Recipe
This hearty, home style recipe will whisk you away to bluer skies and grassier plains. Free-range, grass fed beef blended with savory bits of bacon is the perfect compliment to succulent pork belly, sunny-side up fried eggs, crisp mixed greens, juicy tomatoes and, of course, Bongards® American Cheese Slices.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 Lb. ground beef
- 4 Slices of bacon
- 2 Slices of pork belly
- 2 Eggs (fried sunny-side up)
- 2 Hamburger buns
- 1/2 Lb. Bongards® American Cheese Slices.
- 1/2 Cup mixed greens
- 1/2 Tomato (sliced)
PREPARATION
- Cook bacon in skillet. Set aside and let cool. Chop up into small pieces.
- Mix uncooked ground beef with the bacon bits. Form beef into two patties and grill on skillet.
- While beef is grilling, fry pork belly slices on the other side of the skillet until done. Set aside burgers and pork belly.
- Fry eggs sunny-side up on one side of the skillet and brown buns on the other side.
- Layer all ingredients onto the bun and serve.
