Hawaiian Turkey Sliders
Craving a taste of the tropics? These Hawaiian Turkey Sliders will whisk you away! Juicy, seasoned turkey patties that burst with flavor rest between sweet Hawaiian slider rolls, topped with melty Bongards® Pasteurized Blended Provolone Cheese and a refreshing pineapple slaw. These sliders are a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, perfect for a light lunch or BBQ!
INGREDIENTS
- 3 oz. pineapple chunks
- 6 oz. coleslaw mix
- 2 oz. coleslaw dressing (see secondary recipe below)
- 3 Hawaiian slider rolls
- 3 turkey slider patties (see secondary recipe below)
- 3 slices Bongards® Pasteurized Blended Provolone Cheese
PREPARATION
- Prepare turkey slider patties in advance.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Prepare coleslaw dressing.
- Mix pineapple, coleslaw mix, and coleslaw dressing until well combined. Cover and set aside.
- Place turkey patties on sheet pan, bake in oven until fully cooked, about 10-15 minutes.
- Assemble: Bottom bun, 1 slice provolone cheese, 1 turkey patty, pineapple slaw, top bun. Repeat for remaining sliders.
Secondary Recipes
Turkey Slider Patties
INGREDIENTS
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 2 Tbsp. tamari
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. onion powder
PREPARATION
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix until fully incorporated.
- Cover and refrigerate 1-2 hours.
- After allowing to set, form into slider patties, about 3 oz. each.
Coleslaw Dressing
INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 C. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp. maple syrup
- 3/4 tsp. celery seeds
- 1/4 tsp. sea salt
- Pinch of freshly ground black pepper
PREPARATION
- In a medium bowl, whisk together all ingredients until fully combined.
- Cover and refrigerate.
