“One Pan” Mac and Cheese

K-12 students adore macaroni and cheese, making it a beloved staple in school cafeterias and households alike. Its irresistible cheesy goodness captivates young taste buds, providing a satisfying burst of flavor with every bite. And now you can deliver it to your students with an easy one-pan method using only 3 ingredients! All you need is Bongards® SuperMelt™ Yellow American Feather Shred Cheese, whole grain macaroni noodles, and water. That’s it! No need for lengthy ingredient lists or complicated steps.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 – 5 lb. bag of Bongards® SuperMelt™ Yellow American Feather Shred Cheese
  • 40 oz. Whole grain macaroni noodles
  • 120 oz. Warm or hot water (by weight)

PREPARATION

  1. In a 4″ deep full hotel pan, add cheese and dry macaroni noodles. Toss together until combined.
  2. Add water and stir briefly until all ingredient are distributed evenly in the water.
  3. Cover entire pan with foil and place in convection oven for 1 hour.
  4. Remove from the oven, peel back the foil, and stir well.
  5. Cover again with foil and place in warming cabinet for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove from warmer, stir again, and serve.
