Buffalo Chicken Burger
Your students will enjoy the fiery flavor of buffalo wings but want a handheld twist! This Buffalo Chicken Burger recipe features a succulent grilled chicken patty smothered in a tangy buffalo sauce, then cooled down with creamy, melty Bongards® Pasteurized Blended Provolone Cheese. But the real star is the piled-high ranch slaw, adding a creamy crunch to every bite.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 whole wheat burger bun
- 2-3 oz. pre-cooked chicken breast or chicken patty
- 1 oz. buffalo sauce
- 1 slice Bongards® Pasteurized Blended Provolone Cheese
- 2 oz. ranch slaw (see secondary recipe below)
PREPARATION
- Prepare ranch slaw in advance.
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Add chicken to a sheet pan, bake until fully heated, about 15-20 minutes.
- Dip in buffalo sauce to coat.
- Assemble: Bottom bun, provolone cheese, chicken breast, ranch slaw, top bun.

INGREDIENTS
- 16 oz. coleslaw mix
- 1 packet ranch seasoning
- 1 C. mayonnaise
PREPARATION
- Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and toss with tongs or fork to combine.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Serve cold.
